Cloud vendors increasingly reliant on channel

More than half of channel executives think distributors will be able to develop or enhance cloud financing programmes thanks to new opportunities arising in the industry over the last year.
GTDC asked 70 vendor channel executives and 20 distribution executives about the trends in the channel over 2016 and what can be expected into 2017.
The research revealed that all aspects of the channel are benefitting from customers’ transformative attitudes, as they embrace the power of the cloud and digital services. These tools are being used to improve efficiency and boost productivity, making it essential the entire channel can deliver ready-made, industry-specific solutions to market much faster.
